The Project includes the following Work: Demolition of an existing wastewater lift station; construction of a new duplex submersible wastewater lift station; installation of approx. 85 LF of 12" polyvinyl chloride (PVC) gravity sewer pipe; installation of approx. 5,689 LF of 10" PVC pressure sewer line, including a pipeline crossing of U.S. Highway 97; installation of approx. 650 LF of 8" PVC pressure sewer line; installation of electrical, controls, and instrumentation; installation of a new standby power generator system; site and restoration work; and painting, together with all other Work.

To replace aging infrastructure and upsize the lift station capacity, a new wetwell complete with pump station components will be installed at the site of the existing pump station next to the existing equipment. The following major components will be installed: pour-in-place concrete wetwell and valve pad, three submersible pumps, guide rails, access hatches, station piping, electrical panel and controls, sanitary sewer manholes, fencing, new gab site pad. Existing equipment will be relied upon for lift station operation during construction. Following turnover to new equipment, existing structures will be abandoned in place, and pipes will be cut, capped, and abandoned in place where indicated on the plans. Contractor will also make the appropriate connections and disconnections to and from the existing and proposed system. Bypass pumping will be required to make tie-ins to the existing force main.
Construct a 1,000 gpm triplex wastewater lift station including wet well and valve vault, electrical power and controls, pumps, piping and valves and a standby emergency generator, site work including sheet pile/soldier pile shoring, cast in place concrete retaining wall, demolition of structure, excavation and haul, site grading, gravel surfacing and heated concrete driveway, site piping including 1" water service, hot box, RPBA, and site improvements including a jib crane, fencing and dates. Install approx. 1,000 LF of 8" through 18" gravity sewer mains and manholes. Install approx. 900 LF of 10" and 12" pressure sewer mains. Restore asphalt surfacing, concrete curbing and sidewalk.
