Work consists of construction of a new groundwater well pumping station including well cleaning and equipping, site and building interior piping, domestic water fill station/water dispenser, tie-in to existing transmission main(s), site grading, asphalt surface driveway and parking area, new wood-frame building with metal, shed-style roof and concrete slab floor, HVAC, lighting, power, new power service, stand-by power generation and telemetry controls.

Elizabethtown Area Regional Authority
Sewage pumping station upgrade: Expansion of the existing 250-gallon-per-minute (gpm) buried packaged pumping station to a 400-gpm submersible sewage pumping station, along with the installation of approx. 1,640 LF of 6" sewage force main in parallel with the existing 4" force main and installation of approx. 255 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer main. Work includes installation of an owner-procured package pump station and control system, a new channel grinder, an 8-foot by 8-foot precast wet well, temporary electrical connections, a new electrical service entrance, modifications to the existing generator building, precast manhole structures and yard piping, site paving, fencing, grading, demolition of all existing pumping station facilities, and maintenance of sanitary sewer flows throughout construction.

Schedule 1 - water mains: +/-590 LF of 8" PVC water main and +/-220 of 6" PVC fire / water service pipe installed via open-cut methods and an additional +/-320 LF of 8" HDPE water main installed by horizontal directional drilling methods. Work will include typical water main appurtenances including, but not limited to, fire hydrants, gate valves, fittings, and surface restoration. Schedule 1 will also include the installation of a prefabricated pressure reducing valve vault west of quincer subdivision and removal an existing pressure reducing valve vault located in riverview villa subdivision. The work will require the handling and disposal of asbestos containing pipe. The work shall be substantially completed by friday, june 26, 2026. qualifications: contractor(s) implementing trenchless technologies via horizontal directional drilling methods shall furnish written evidence of experience in performing said portion of work. Schedule 2 - pumping station: upgrading of an existing water booster station into a water pumping station. Work will include, but not limited to; removal of existing pipe, appurtenances, equipment, wall furnishings, and electrical within the existing building and replacing with all new pumps, interior piping, appurtenances, equipment, electrical, and SCADA control systems, and interior wall coverings and finishes. New interior piping, appurtenances, and equipment may be prefabricated in sections or built-in-place. The work will require temporary pumping and water supply to the riverview villa subdivision currently serviced by the existing booster station during the course of construction. The work shall be substantially completed by Friday, June 26, 2026.
