The project involves construction of upper and lower pedestrian plaza and an interconnecting public pedestrian steel stairway. Primary elements of the work include cast-in-place (CIP) concrete walls, piers, stairs as well as metal stairs, landings and railing systems. Other work in this project includes a new electrical service, installation of conduit and wiring, furnishing and installing site improvements and installing new curbing as well as resetting existing curbing, installation of new and restoration of sidewalk and limited areas of asphalt paving.

Phase 2 of the project includes the remodel of the existing 20,336 SF building, and additional construction of a gymnasium, a lobby, and a front porch. The New Location project consists of a remodel and an addition to an existing movie theater building with 4 main theater rooms and supporting spaces. The existing building is 20,336 SF. The construction of the existing building is CMU block walls and concrete post and beam construction with concrete T-bar roof structure. The entirety of the building will be remodeled to support a variety of spaces with new mechanical, electrical and plumbing. A flat structural slab will be poured to level the theater floors and structural steel will be added to support new window and door openings throughout the masonry building. The addition consists of the front porch which is 4,550 SF, and a Gym and lobby addition which is 9,217 SF.
