The Contractor Shall: Exercise own judgment and expertise to assure the successful completion of all requirements placed here-under in accordance with and adhering to all VLS governing documents. Designate, in writing, those persons authorized to accept/reject verbal orders. As applicable, coordinate schedules in the work affected areas with the ship’s force representative, MARMC Maintenance Team (MT), the on-site VLS Subject Matter Expert (SME) as defined in the Delivery Order during the performance period of the delivery order. Prior to the start of work, the contractor shall obtain a copy of the ship's operation drills from the ships force to avoid unnecessary delays. To minimize delays and disruptions, the work effort on delivery orders shall be coordinated on a daily basis with the ships force representative to allow for changing situations aboard ships.
