The Town of Great Barrington is requesting proposals for grant administration services for its FY25 Community Development Block Grant program that includes housing rehabilitation in the Towns of Great Barrington, Egremont, and Stockbridge.
AvailableCDBG applications must be presented at an open public meeting of the municipality where the project is located, and the municipal certification must be completed before the application's due date and time. Failure to do so will be considered a fatal flaw and the application will be considered unacceptable. Please plan accordingly. The Community Development (CD) Committee is comprised of two (2) representatives of each participating municipality and two (2) representatives appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. The CD Committee, operating both as a whole and through its Special Subcommittees, reviews and recommends implementation policies to the Commissioner Board. A Special Subcommittee of the CD Committee will review all proposals requesting funds and recommend project funding levels to the Board of County Commissioners.
