Mental Health Services and Psychiatric Care Program

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is soliciting qualifications to provide comprehensive mental health services and psychiatric care to residents civilly committed to the Texas Civil Commitment Center (TCCC) in Littlefield, Texas. Required services include psychiatric diagnostic interviews, psychosocial assessments, recovery-based treatment planning, medication management, crisis response, case management, evidence-based counseling, and discharge planning, with specified minimum staffing ratios and mandatory key positions (psychiatrist, RN, licensed practitioner, qualified mental health professionals). The anticipated contract term is two State Fiscal Years with options to extend (plus transition period), cost-plus compensation with a maximum profit margin, and detailed reporting, HUB/subcontracting and financial solvency documentation requirements.
