Mechanical HVAC (Request for Proposals)

Description: Mechanical HVAC work, with the following scope and clarifications expressly addressed: New high-efficiency gas furnace and air-conditioning systems: for the kitchen/restroom and assembly area. Include equipment, distribution, controls, accessories, supports, installation, startup and testing. Identify load calculations, system selection, capacities, duct sizing and engineering included. Use the event center planning capacity of approximately 300 people and identify the final design information needed. New galvanized supply and return ductwork, sealed joints, hangers, supports and diffusers. Coordinate routing, access and square ductwork within planned drywall bulkheads. Required outdoor/fresh air, controls and calculations. Identify occupancy assumptions and any need for additional ventilation equipment or design direction. New restroom exhaust fans. Verify existing restroom fans against the plan-indicated 225 CFM requirement and separately price any required correction. Field verification of existing roof curbs, equipment locations and roof conditions. State reuse assumptions; separately identify new curbs, flashing, roof work or structural modifications. Coordinate gas supply, power, disconnects, condensate, penetrations, fire/smoke interfaces and equipment access. Identify who furnishes and installs each interface item.
