Manly, IA - Sanitary Sewer Collection System Phase I Improvements Project (MANLY 175788)

Contract 1: Sanitary sewer rehabilitation including cleaning and televising, heavy cleaning, 6,454 LF of CIPP lining, 60 LF of pipe replacement, service grouting, manhole vertical lining of 400 VF, manhole grouting of 23 manholes, installation of one new manhole, new manhole castings at 20 locations, new manhole boxouts and castings at an additional 55 locations, manhole adjustments at 12 locations, installation of concrete fillets at 17 locations, street removal and replacement. Restoration of grassy areas, pavement, and granular surfacing. Contract 2: Sanitary sewer collection system improvements including the removal of existing gravity sewer and installation of new gravity sewer for a total of 810 LF, service reconnections using wyes, installation of sanitary sewer force main piping using trenchless methods of 2,150 LF, installation of sanitary sewer force main with steel casing pipe using trenchless methods of 200 LF, sanitary sewer abandonment using plug and fill methods of 1,185 LF, lift station improvements, installation of a sewage air release valve pit, manhole drop connection, and connection to existing manholes. Restoration of grassy areas, pavement, and granular surfacing. Construction of site work, electrical/mechanical work associated with the improvements, as well as start-up services and restoration.
