Long Range BAA for the Undersea Security Program

Description: Focus Area #1: A Navy objective for this BAA is to focus on research and development services involving studies, analysis and assessments addressing a broad variety of areas such as Tactical Submarine Evolution Plan and Integrated Undersea Future Investment Strategy. Areas of research include 1) War-game design, development, planning, execution, and analysis in support of current and future undersea and seabed warfare capabilities and operations to support future technology decisions, capabilities and strategies 2) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and other analytical capabilities to inform the development of strategic plans, capabilities, and mitigation options as well as identify technical and programmatic risks, 3)Studies to evaluate sensors, signatures, weapons systems, and platforms (both manned and unmanned), 4) Analysis of the impact of new technology to in-service and future submarine operations in the presence of adversaries using kinetic and non-kinetic affects, 5) Studies to evaluate maintainability and supportability of technology recommendations. These studies, analyses, and assessments may be extended in support of allied nation submarine programs. See outside linked file.
