The Agency (RTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified and licensed electrical contractors to provide a turnkey LED lighting retrofit and energy efficiency upgrade project at designated RTA facilities. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, commissioning, documentation, and incidentals necessary to replace existing lighting systems with high-efficiency LED lighting and lighting controls. Prospective offerors shall possess a state of California C-10 electrical contractor’s license to meet the requirements of the project. This is a prevailing wage project; therefore, the contractor and any subcontractors must be actively registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations at the time of proposal submittal. The complete scope of work can be found in Exhibit A. RTA anticipates the award of a firm-fixed priced contract and is estimated to be awarded in February 2027. Site Visits are scheduled on November 3, 2026. Please see the Solicitation Document for more information. All prospective Offerors who are interested in attending the pre-proposal site visit must send their intent via email to dquevedo@riversidetransit.com by November 2, 2026.
