Learn Road Roundabout Project

Construction of a vehicular roundabout and will include the following as shown on the construction Plan: Project mobilization and demobilization of all necessary construction/project equipment and/or temporary structures. Installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic control signage. Installation, maintenance, and removal of erosion and sedimentation controls as shown on the Construction Plans. Sawcut and remove existing asphalt road surface. Utility poles will be relocated by others. Existing and new utility poles shall be protected as noted on the Plan. Remove existing trees. Existing trees to remain shall be protected as noted on the Plan. Remove existing boulders. Relocated existing propane tank. Construct roundabout with concrete truck apron with mountable curb and concrete splitter islands with mountable curb. Install storm sewer and inlets. Install new pavement including aggregate subbase, and binder and wearing courses. Install bituminous rolled curb. Install guiderail. Furnish and place topsoil, and fine grade, seed and mulch all disturbed areas. Install landscaping, signage, and pavement markings.
