Replace West Side Back-up Generators - Invitation for Construction Bid

Description: Work includes : remove asbestos and lead around out of service boilers no. 1, 2, and 3. Remove coal hoppers and other coal handling equipment for the above referenced boilers. Remove out of service boilers no. 1, 2, and 3 and associated equipment and piping to make space for future equipment. Limited electrical gear, cabling, and lights will also be removed. Demolish equipment pads for all equipment removed to be flush with existing floors. Cover or infill all unprotected openings or add temporary/permanent guardrails. Remove structural support for removed equipment.
