Principal elements of the work include: construction of a cut-and-cover tunnel under 10th avenue, connecting the existing hudson yards concrete casing section 1 ("hycc-1") with a-yard, approx. 100' long. Underpinning the existing 450 west 33rd street overbuild structure and the relocation of its structural columns and the ps-5 structure to accommodate the future track alignment.
