The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), in coordination with the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (NYCHPD) and the NYC Housing Development Corporation (NYCHDC), is issuing this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) on behalf of the City of New York. The RFEI solicits industry proposals from insurance brokers, carriers, third-party administrators, and other entities for structuring and operating an insurance program to reduce property and liability insurance costs for income-restricted affordable and rent-stabilized housing in New York City. NYCEDC anticipates committing up to $100 million over a three-year period as a one-time funding infusion, with responses due by 4:00 PM ET on August 6, 2026.
The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) has issued an open Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) titled 'Ideas for Impact RFEI' to source innovative and impactful partnership ideas from private sector and non-profit organizations that fall outside the scope of NYCEDC's other active solicitations. Eligible project categories include programmatic initiatives, technology pilots, capital projects, impact investment opportunities, and improvements to NYCEDC operations, with NYCEDC providing in-kind, non-financial resources such as asset access, marketing, technical assistance, and strategic partnership support rather than direct funding. Responses are reviewed on a rolling monthly basis with a final submission deadline of December 31, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET, established via Addendum #2 dated June 23, 2026 to Project #10492.
