Summary
Seeks qualified organizations to implement Housing for Persons Vulnerable to HIV that promote the use of antiretroviral medications (ARV) for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for Black and/or Hispanic/Latino gay/bisexual/same-gender-loving men in the City. The overall purpose of Housing for People Vulnerable to HIV is to remove homelessness or unstable housing as a barrier experienced by individuals who are members of priority populations and are eligible for PrEP and to support individuals in the successful use of PrEP for HIV including engagement/retention in healthcare and PrEP for HIV adherence, and supportive services necessary to meet the unique and diverse needs of program participants. CDPH is requesting proposals that demonstrate new or innovative uses of funding to promote the successful use of PrEP for HIV by addressing the housing needs of Black and/or Hispanic/Latine gay/bisexual/same-gender-loving men. These services must be based on a demonstrated experience in providing services for Black and/or Hispanic/Latino gay/bisexual/same-gender-loving men.
