Description: Standardized commercial Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) router/switch platform to support current and future managed services, including hosted Wi-Fi, hosted PBX (Metaswitch & Connect360), managed security, camera solutions, and routed subnet. The selected solution must provide carrier-grade reliability, multi-gigabit performance, advanced routing capabilities, secure remote management, and operational scalability across approximately 3,000 existing and future customer locations. EPB is evaluating vendors based on technical functionality, manageability, security, lifecycle support, and total cost of ownership, with the goal of establishing a long-term strategic platform that supports commercial internet services, hosted products, and future service innovation.
