UNC Greensboro, via Skanska USA Building Inc. as CM at Risk, is soliciting construction bids from prequalified contractors for Bid Package 27A: Audio Visual System as part of the Jackson Library Addition and Renovation project. Bids are due and will be opened at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at UNC Greensboro, Jarrell Hall, Room #032, 320 College Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27412. The project consists of a security addition and renovation work for Harrah Middle School. The work consists of approx. 640 SF of new build to encapsulate a larger area for the media center. The remainder of the 9,300 SF of work is for complete renovation of the administration, restrooms, and a science classroom. The project also consists of the addition of a large structural steel canopy wrapping a portion of the building providing dry traversing space from the drop off area into the building. Existing MEP upgrades within the renovation areas are included as well.
