The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is soliciting proposals to replace emergency generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS) at the MVA Glen Burnie Facility, including demolition, removal of existing equipment, installation of a new 150 kW indoor generator with sub-base tank and 75 kW load bank, two 480V 3-phase ATSs, new panelboards, feeders, HVAC and civil/duct bank work, and associated electrical/mechanical systems. The contractor must provide testing and commissioning services with at least three years of comparable experience and implement project-specific measures to reduce environmental impacts. The solicitation includes MBE (30%) and VSBE (1%) participation goals and directs bidders to the official bid source for full documentation.
