Fort Bliss 1AD CAB Hangar Fire Extinguishers

The U.S. Army (Dept. of the Army) is soliciting a contractor to perform 6-year maintenance, inspection, servicing, and recharge of 56 150-lb BC (Amerex 490) fire extinguishers in compliance with NFPA 10 and the Amerex 490 Owner’s Manual. Work requires transporting extinguishers from Biggs Army Airfield facilities, performing maintenance in the contractor’s facility in lots of six every three days, and returning extinguishers; the contract is expected to take ~5 weeks.
