This RFP is to engage the services of a qualified environmental consulting firm (the Consultant) to undertake a risk-informed evaluation of groundwater and surface water monitoring programs (the “Work”) at four landfill sites (the “Sites”) across Prince Edward Island (three former regional landfills and the active East Prince Waste Management Facility [EPWMF]). IWMC maintains an extensive historical groundwater dataset at these sites, in some cases exceeding 25 years. IWMC wishes to assess whether the current monitoring programs continue to represent the most effective and risk-informed approach.
