Farmers Mutual Community Ditch Piping Project RFP

Description: Project includes: construction of an irrigation project including removal of approx. 1,661 LF of an existing concrete channel; installation of approx. 90 LF of new concrete channel; installation of 1,550 LF of new 60" double walled high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE); fill material and grading to proposed finish grade, and 24 LF of concrete transition from headwall to match existing channel (12 LF each end). All construction will include grading, subgrade preparation and bedding materials per detail. Project will also include installation of 3 watermain c-10 canal gates, tying into existing irrigation pipes. Headwalls will be constructed at each of the pipe ends. Approx 550 feet of the channel will be realigned to accommodate common angles of pipe bends. The remaining construction will follow the existing channel as closely as possible. A concrete sediment wall will be installed in one of the new concrete channel sections near an existing pump station intake.
