Full remodel of an existing fire station to modernize interior spaces and extend the overall service life of the facility. Work includes interior renovations, upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, improvements to energy efficiency, and modifications required to bring the facility up to modern building, seismic, safety, and accessibility codes. Interior improvements will include updates to living and sleeping quarters, kitchen and dining areas, restrooms and shower facilities, administrative offices, training and meeting rooms, and other support spaces within the existing building footprint. Finishes, cabinetry, lighting, and interior layouts will be modernized to support operational efficiency and daily station use. MEP upgrades will include replacement of HVAC systems with high-efficiency units, installation of new electrical panels and LED lighting, updated emergency power systems, and new or upgraded plumbing fixtures throughout the building. Communication, it, and alerting systems will also be updated as needed. Exterior improvements may include repairs or replacement of siding, roofing, doors, windows, and insulation; ADA-compliant access upgrades; general site enhancements; and the installation of a new exterior deck to improve functionality and outdoor accessibility for station personnel. The completed remodel will provide a safer, more functional, energy-efficient, and code-compliant fire station that supports the operational needs of the department and the long-term needs of the community.
