Seeking proposals for a new CDC facility which will accommodate 228 children aged from infant to five-years old, 80 staff members and visitors. The design closely follows prototype facility design as established by the USAF and documented in their facilities criteria FC 4-740-14F as the basis of design. The design includes nine Infant/Pre-Toddler Activity Rooms, six Toddler Activity Rooms, and three Pre-School Activity Rooms. A commercial kitchen is included with pre-determined kitchen layout and equipment per the prototype design. Laundry areas, administration core, and support spaces are included. The new facility also includes a tornado storm shelter satisfying the requirement of ICC 550 and FEMA Criteria.
