Electronic Registration and Title System for Powersports Transactions (RFI)

Seeking to create functionality between the State's system of vehicle records, and an Electronic Registration and Title (ERT) platform to process powersports transactions. Powersports transactions include watercraft, snowmobile, moped, off-road vehicle (ORV), and accompanying untitled trailers through an ERT platform. The functionality would be similar to how vehicle dealers currently process their vehicle title and registration transactions utilizing an electronic registration and title platform. The Michigan Department of State will use information obtained from this RFI to determine the feasibility of using an ERT provider to conduct powersports transactions. See attached file.
