E‑Rate - Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) (RFP)

E-rate eligible internal connections and/or managed internal broadband service (mibs) extended support subscriptions for applicant-owned hardware.

The respondent will be responsible for providing managed internal broadband services for existing equipment. All equipment, licensing and software required will be managed by the respondent, acting as the third-party service provider. Respondent will be responsible for installation of all equipment licensing. All programming, configuration, testing, and documentation will be included in the Respondents proposal price. This includes management, configuration, and support of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) where listed in the equipment inventory.

The applicant requests proposals for E-Rate eligible Managed Internal Broadband Service (MIBS) for hardware the applicant intends to purchase and own. Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) (including managed Wi-Fi): services provided by a third party for the operation, management, and monitoring of eligible broadband internal connection components, including actual day-to-day tasks that directly support and are necessary for broadband connectivity within schools and libraries. Includes: but not limited to monitoring all eligible hardware and software, reporting on overall health and stability of system(s); accurate reporting and strategic recommendations: services necessary to manage and repair the LAN/WLAN network, such as diagnostic services, 24-hour network monitoring, or helpdesk support; installation, activation, and initial configuration of eligible components.

Procurement of E-Rate eligible Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) for the operation, management, and monitoring of eligible broadband internal connections components.
