Dunlap, IA Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements RFP

Description: The Project includes but not limited to Sludge removal and disposal from the primary and secondary lagoon cells; Demolition of existing control structures, piping, and appurtenances; Major site grading to convert the existing secondary lagoon to a 2-cell aerated lagoon and quiescent cell with a total depth of 10-feet and operating depth of 8'; Installation of a new synthetic liner for the 2-cell aerated lagoon and quiescent cells including synthetic liner appurtenances and a baffle curtain as specified in contract documents; New aeration system including piping and appurtenances, blowers, and controls; Construction of a new ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system; Construction of a new Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) and associated electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components; Installation of a new standby generator and associated electrical controls; New 8" diameter sanitary sewer force main, 12" and 8" diameter sanitary sewer gravity main, sanitary sewer manholes, and related appurtenances; Site dewatering as required for construction; Site grading, gravel paving, piping, seeding, restoration, and other miscellaneous work; see outside link for more details.
