Drone Marketplace Onboarding of Group 3 UAS

Description: The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Redstone Arsenal is issuing a Call for Solutions to competitively acquire and onboard innovative commercial Group 3 Uncrewed Aircraft Systems onto the Drone Marketplace. The call is intended to establish a pool of qualified vendors and may result in one or more firm-fixed-price Basic Ordering Agreements, but it does not guarantee future orders or funding. The onboarding call is designed to remain open and enduring for up to five years, subject to the stated response deadline and the Government’s right to alter or cancel it.

Drone Marketplace Onboarding of Group 3 UAS RFP
The overarching objective is for the contractor to provide an innovative and complete Group 3 UAS. The contractor shall propose their standard commercial offerings that best meet the following objectives. System Attributes: Vendors must provide information addressing each attribute as part of the Initial Assessment Packet (IAP) and the Verification Activities Questionnaire (VAQ) process. This information populates the system's detailed product profile on the UAS Marketplace storefront, providing the basis for Government end-users to make a competitive selection of the UAS that best meets their needs. Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA): Vendors shall articulate their MOSA strategy. This will include detailing how interoperability is achieved for major system components, with a particular focus on payloads and radios. The vendor will specify what data will be provided to the Government above and beyond typical commercial procurement to support integration and future upgrades. See attached file.

Call for Solutions (CFS): Drone Marketplace Onboarding of US Payloads, Software, Components, and Enablers/Accessories
The primary objective is to provide modular mission capabilities, resilient digital architectures, and supporting sub-systems that maximize the operational utility of host platforms. This scope is defined by the following categories: US Payloads: Encompass the mission-specific hardware, sensors, systems, or cargo carried by a US to execute designated operational tasks. These integrated systems include, but are not limited to, Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) cameras for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR); Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR); Laser Designators (LD) and Rangefinders (LRF); Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Electronic Warfare (EW) modules; communications relays; and physical cargo delivery systems. Partner Nation Access Framework for the UAS International Marketplace
The PM Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) International Project Office seeks industry partners to prototype a secure framework that would extend the UAS Marketplace to allied and partner nations. The framework is intended to provide foreign Partner Nations with faster access to trusted drone technologies and strengthen coalition interoperability. This is an active prototype-focused government challenge with a response deadline of August 11, 2026, rather than a grant program.

The Defence Investment Agency (DIA), on behalf of the Department of National Defence (DND), is inviting Canadian suppliers to qualify for the Defence Drone Initiative (DDI) Marketplace through a Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA). This Supply Arrangement establishes a pre-qualified supplier pool covering uncrewed and autonomous systems (UxS), counter-UxS capabilities, communications and data systems, engineering and integration services, testing and training, and innovation and experimentation activities. The DDI Marketplace is designed to give Canada rapid access to emerging technologies and operational capabilities through a flexible, streamlined procurement process, with an industry engagement event scheduled for July 30, 2026 and the first-round submission deadline on 14 August 2026.
