One (1) provider to provide effective and expeditious legal and advocacy services for cws clients experiencing domestic violence (dv) and survivors of domestic violence currently staying in, or eligible for entry into, domestic violence shelters contracted by the dhs. The purpose of this service is to provide legal, advocacy, and training services to assist cws clients experiencing dv and dv survivors in fulfilling an established service plan, exiting abusive relationships, and assisting in a safe transition from dv shelters into the community.

New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department
Provide domestic violence services, includes, services to adult and youth survivors of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence and their dependents, including immediate shelter, supportive services, and prevention efforts; services to assist and support children exposed to domestic violence in healing from the trauma they have experienced and repair and rebuild the non-abusing/protective parent-child relationship impacted by the abuse; civil and criminal legal services for survivors of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence.

Facilitate the expansion of the Domestic Violence Division's court operations to provide round-the-clock, hybrid access to emergency orders of protection. This expansion aims to enhance the accessibility and responsiveness of the court system to the urgent needs of individuals at risk of domestic violence, thereby extending protective measures more swiftly and effectively. The Court seeks to partner with experienced Domestic Violence Service Providers who can deliver comprehensive support services including crisis intervention, safety planning, and legal advocacy. The expanded program will ensure that individuals have immediate access to protective services and legal remedies through a seamless, integrated approach that prioritizes safety and justice. Proposals should detail innovative, client-centered approaches to operate this vital program, ensuring robust support and advocacy for our community's most vulnerable members. The County intends to enter into a three (3) year agreement with two (2) one-year renewal options.
New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department
Procurement of a full range of training, technical assistance, public awareness, and community coordination services from state or tribal domestic violence coalitions with a demonstrated history of supporting domestic violence service, includes, provide education, support, and technical assistance to intimate partner violence/ domestic violence survivor service. Educate advocates and trainers on the dynamics of domestic violence from the perspective of Native American victims/survivors, child witnesses, and perpetrators. Increase public awareness about and prevention of intimate partner violence/domestic violence.
