The Acquisition Modernization Technology Research (AMTR) Program, established at the beginning of FY22, assesses acquisition and procurement processes, identifies and prioritizes areas that would benefit from IT modernization or advanced technologies, evaluates technical requirements, and pursues future research efforts. For the acquisition of research and development. Research shall focus on developing improvements to the DoD Class III Bulk Fuel Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants (POL) supply system.

Air Force Research Laboratory

Provide technology interests are presented in the context of manufacturing research and technology development approaches and their applicability to the air force high impact technology domains. Research and development in advanced manufacturing technologies, specifically: inventing the factory of the future; building up the digital manufacturing enterprise; and exploring additive manufacturing and other advanced manufacturing technologies.
