Design Build Bridge Replacement, Putnam County

Description: This project is a Design Build. Remove existing superstructure. Remove the existing abutments to one foot below finish grade and piers to one foot below river bottom elevation, unless they conflict with any new construction, then they must be removed in their entirety. Galvanized steel stay-in-place deck forms are acceptable as long as their dead load is included in calculations. Replace the existing bridge with a hl-93 aashto load rated bridge designed to current lrfd standards and a future 3 wearing surface. The new bridge load rating documentation is required, along with the aashto brr input file. The new bridge shall have a face-to-face rail width of 32 FT.
