Demolish Existing Building and Construct New Building RFP

Description: Traffic Equipment Building Existing (D0906), New (IDOT 572-0002): Demolish the existing structure down to the existing slab to remain. Construct approximately 4,635 square foot, single-story post framed building over the existing concrete slab. The new posts will be set in a new grade beam around the perimeter of the existing slab. Install metal wall panels and concealed fastener roof system. Install insulation in the exterior walls and install wall panel up to the bottom of the trusses. Install insulation in the attic. Install new overhead doors and man doors. Reinstall the existing air compressor and gas fired heating system. Install new lighting, wiring, receptacles, and panel. Modify sanitary piping and install oil separator. Site work includes replacement of asphalt apron with concrete.
