Summary
The Community Services Emergency Relief Grant Program is an emergency fund that will allocate $100,000 in city funds to a single organization to design, implement, and manage a citywide collaborative initiative. This initiative will focus on delivering comprehensive wraparound services to the priority population: socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals and families facing immigration-related challenges. Community members have encountered various vulnerabilities and systemic barriers that hinder their access to essential needs, including housing, food security, education, and legal services. Effective, culturally sensitive, and appropriate responses to these challenges are critical for community stabilization and self-sufficiency. The selected organization may allocate up to 10% of the total grant to overhead or indirect costs, ensuring that the majority of funds directly support the intended services. See attached file.
