Summary
Provide all labor and materials to transport one Link-Belt Model RTC 8065II Rough Terrain Crane from the US Coast Guard Academy Waterfront Division to the contractor’s repair facility. The boom will be removed from the crane, dis-assembled and inspected. Complete an inspection and maintenance of the boom assembly in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations. The boom inspection will include but not limited to, inspecting all sections of boom structure (internal and external), sheaves, lifting cables, guides, rollers, fasteners, pins, bearings, electric/electronic components, blocks, hooks wear pads, hydraulic actuators, and hydraulic components. Replace the three hydraulic hoses at the base of the boom and all internal hoses within the boom. Replace all boom wear pads and all sheave bearings. Complete a hydraulic system oil and filter change. Complete a detailed inspection of the boom assembly and connection points with recommendations, if applicable, with any findings, deficiencies and any recommended repairs. Provide the US Coast Guard inspector with a written inspection report. See attached file.
