Work includes construction and installation of approx. 34 large wood and boulder features (8 bar apex jams, 8 cover jams, 8 bank protection, 6 bench jams, 2 deflector jams, and 2 boulder clusters). The features will be built with 625 logs and approx. 410 3-4' boulders in accordance with engineered plans. Refer to engineered plans (attached) for the structural designs. Construction of some of the large wood features will involve excavation of soil to use for fill and willow planting within the fill. Contractor will be responsible for falling trees/digging up trees for the project and will be responsible for obtaining and staging boulders for the project.
