Summary
Seeking for covidence software renewal. The Eccles Library has been using Covidence software from Veritas Health Innovation for the past 7 years to manage the workflow of Systematic Review projects. Covidence is the primary screening and data extraction tool for researchers involved in evidence synthesis review projects. As key members of the research team, Eccles librarians use Covidence to upload search results, screen abstracts, complete data collection, conduct risk of bias assessment, and export data into other software for analysis. Eccles has paid for a limited department-only Covidence license for many years to support these projects and a systematic review cannot be conducted without access to this tool. Eccles Library has received additional funding to allow for an expanded number of licenses for a larger pool of patrons, including students and early career faculty.
