Work includes repair and replacement of concrete surfaces within four (4) recreation yards to address potential trip hazards and ensure a safe environment. Work also includes the demolition and reconstruction of these recreation yards as needed. Additionally, repairs to the perimeter interior security fencing will be performed to address potential security concerns. The scope further includes paving over the green area surrounding the horizon building and installing underground conduit to support future installation of light poles.

Work consists of the removal of existing steel tube fencing between existing cmu columns, repair of existing cmu columns, removal and restorations of existing irrigation, removal and replacement of damaged mow curb, new mow curb, new concrete, new precast bumper blocks, installation of 8' tall fencing and vehicular and pedestrian gates and installation of decomposed granite.
AvailableInstallation a new CCTV system, demolition of select areas on cast-in-place concrete to create new wall openings, and reinforcement to those new openings. Scope of work to CBCC plans to create additional sole use recreation areas by dividing up the existing recreation areas. This will be done with fencing installed by the CBCC maintenance staff. The work in this contract is associate with that work, by creating new viewing corridors (wall openings cut into existing cast-in-place concrete walls). Reinforcing those new wall openings with structural steel, and adding mesh security screens to those new openings is also in the scope of work. Additionally, a new CCTV system will be installed and the old system will be removed. Some demolition work will be associated with this work. The Department of Corrections (DOC) will be installing the dividing chain link gates and fencing in the existing recreation yards as part of this project.
