Dorchester County, South Carolina is soliciting proposals from qualified, certified, and licensed laboratories to provide Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) testing services (acute and/or chronic, using EPA-approved methods) to ensure NPDES permit compliance for multiple county wastewater treatment facilities. The selected laboratory must be certified by the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services and will provide sample handling, testing, data analysis/reporting, QA/QC documentation, and access to a certified toxicologist or qualified personnel. The contract term is one year with options to renew (and proposal submission is via the County’s procurement portal).
