Summary
The Town of Stoughton, in partnership with the RM of Tecumseh No. 65, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the development of a new Stoughton Community Multiplex Facility. The project involves construction of an approximately 45,000 square foot multi-purpose recreation facility valued at roughly $15 million, including an NHL-sized ice surface, six dressing rooms, a community hall and event space, fitness centre, indoor walking track, meeting rooms, food and beverage service areas, public gathering spaces, and integration with the existing curling rink and outdoor swimming pool mechanical systems. The delivery model is CMAR with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI); the successful proponent will collaborate during pre-construction on constructability reviews, cost estimating, value engineering, scheduling, procurement planning, risk management, and the development of a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), with potential retention for construction management through project completion.
