The scope of this project is the consolidation of the Satellite Sterile Storage rooms containing RMD located throughout the hospital, and the upgrade of the HVAC systems serving these areas. General construction work includes demolition, infectious control measures, carpentry, new doors, finish work, temporary connections, and all related work. AvailableAll the work area should be sealed using two layers of 0.15 millimeters 6 mil poly (IHFOM, CH 13, Sec. 3), and negative pressure containment shall be installed by the contractor prior to start of demolition work and shall remain for the duration of the project, exhausting to the nearest outside exterior window. The contractor shall cover all vents from the area of construction. Demolition: The contractor shall remove existing vinyl flooring, approx. 123 SF in 2A-211A, and 99 SF in 2A-207A from the sub-sterile rooms. The contractor shall remove 2 bottom cabinets in 2A-207A (1 sink cabinet 42” x 24” x 36” and 1 cabinet 48” x 24” x 36”), and 2 top cabinets (one 42” x 16” x 49” and the other 48” x 16” x 49”) and remove countertop approx. 95” x 24”. The contractor shall remove a large sink approx. 3 ft. with no cabinets (see attached picture IMG_0562 for reference) from 2A-211A, this sink is to be removed and preserved, provide to FMS staff. See attached file.
