Comprehensive Active Transportation Plan (TCDI Project Category 5 – Transportation and Infrastructure Planning). The study shall: Develop a comprehensive vision for an interconnected pedestrian and bicycle network throughout Uwchlan Township. Identify conceptual infrastructure improvements that improve safety, accessibility, and connectivity for users of all ages and abilities. Improve connections between neighborhoods, schools, parks, commercial districts, employment centers, transit services, and other community destinations. Evaluate barriers to active transportation and identify opportunities to reduce network gaps. Advance Complete Streets principles that support walking, bicycling, and multimodal transportation. Develop an implementation strategy that prioritizes projects and identifies funding opportunities, partnerships, and policy actions. Build public consensus through a robust community engagement process.
