Summary
Electrical Work (BT-25-02) includes all Electrical Work. Electrical, and all appurtenant work and materials necessary to produce a complete installation. This Contract includes electric power distribution, lighting, and telecommunication and data systems and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1.Electrical. 2.Power distribution, including disconnect switches at equipment requiring power. 3. Lighting fixtures. 4. Electrical grounding. 5. Electrical and electronic control systems and equipment. 6.Temporary electrical facilities specified in the "Temporary Facilities" Section. 7. Electrical connections to equipment furnished under other contracts. 8. Testing, adjusting, and balancing electrical systems and equipment. 9. Starting/Commissioning electrical systems and equipment. 10. Assisting in starting/commissioning mechanical systems and equipment. 11. The Electrical Contractor shall a.Receive and set the motor starters as provided by the HVAC, Plumbing and General Construction Contractors. b.Provide power wiring, including final connection of same, from source to starters or contactors to motors. c. Receive and install the wall-mounted electrical control devices, thermal switches, etc, and provide all wiring for same. d. Provide all fused or un-fused disconnect switches and circuit breakers not supplied as part of the HVAC system and as, required by the National Electrical Code, or as shown on the drawings, or as specified. e. Adjust connections to electrical motors to insure proper rotation. f. Provide lighting fixtures, accessories and appurtenances.
