Open RFPClimatetech Pathmaker Grants (Request for Proposal)
Description: The Massachusetts Clean Energy Technology Center (MassCEC) Pathmaker program is an employer-driven workforce development initiative designed to expand access to careers in the Commonwealth’s climate critical and climate tech sectors, while addressing critical employer skills and talent needs. Pathmaker supports short-term, industry-aligned training programs that create entry points into Massachusetts' growing climatetech economy, particularly for individuals without significant industry experience or related postsecondary education. The program prioritizes emerging technology areas such as battery energy storage, grid modernization, climatetech advanced manufacturing, clean hydrogen, and fusion, where ongoing industry expansion is driving demand for skilled workers across a range of technical occupations, including Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) and Power Systems roles, along with controls,
commissioning, field service, manufacturing, and electrochemical systems positions that support the deployment and operation of next-generation energy technologies.
