Chief Joseph Dam Upstream Monolith Joint Sealing

Description: This project will address the excessive leakage in the spillway drainage gallery by targeting the two primary sources of water into the gallery: joint drains and face drains. Previous work and investigations have shown an interconnectedness between these two water sources. To reduce overall flows both sources require addressing. If only one of the sources is targeted the water may just be pushed to the other drain with no overall flow decrease.
