Summary
Project is a single prime bid which includes but is not limited to the following highlights of Work: Contract No. 1 – General Prime Construction for the construction of interior improvements including indirect sports lighting integrated with interior light-reflective liner system, and other interior specialties, to meet Substantial Completion and Final Completion in accordance with the contractors bid but Substantial Completion shall not be later than October 2, 2026; including:\r oInstall light-reflective interior liner system over and around existing steel structure and roof-hung indirectly facing LED lights at each of (4) existing tennis courts, as part of an integrated lighting system. \r oRemoval and replacement of column protection pads at steel columns. \r oRemove existing fluorescent tube lights at each tennis court. \r oProvide new LED indirect LED light fixtures at each tennis court, including installation of related conduits and conductors and controls. \r oProvide building code mandated emergency lighting. \r oCompliance with the overall project schedule. \r oTwo year warranty period, and liquidated damages for non-compliance with schedules.\r •Alternate Bid No. 1 – Remove Replace court divider curtains. \r •Alternate Bid No. 2 – Add thermal insulation between reflective liner panels and existing steel framing at walls and roof to the Base Bid extent. \r •Alternate Bid No. 3 – Remove and replace perimeter wall screens/backdrop curtains. \r •Alternate Bid No. 4 – Add reflective liner wrapping around existing gable end wall columns to an elevation of about 7’ above existing floor. \r •Alternate Bid No. 5 – Extend reflective liner system from the Base Bid elevation to the finish floor. \r •Alternate Bid No. 6 – Add thermal insulation between reflective liner panels and existing steel framing at walls from Base Bid elevation to the finished floor. \r •Alternate Bid No. 7 – Paint existing elements. \r •Alternate Bid No. 8 – Remove and replace emergency lighting at existing doors.Bids are requested for the following Contract: General Construction Contract 1 and Alternates Bid Nos. 1 – 8. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $604,000 for the cost of Contract 1. The Project must be Substantially Complete no later than September 23, 2026 with Final Completion no later than October 02, 2026.
