Summary
Contract generally consists of stream restoration, channel stabilization, and associated site restoration approx 1,300 LF. The project is intended to address stream instability, bank erosion, sediment and turbidity concerns, hydraulic conditions, and aquatic habitat limitations while maintaining or improving stream function and water quality. Work is anticipated to include channel reconstruction and/or grading, bed stabilization, bank stabilization, installation of in-stream structures and habitat features, floodplain or bench grading, temporary water control and dewatering measures, erosion and sediment control, access and staging area management, invasive vegetation management where applicable, and final site restoration with native seed, plantings, live stakes, and/or other riparian buffer treatments.
