Description: Provide and install standard curbs, concrete sidewalk, three (3) perpendicular curb ramps, truncated domes, replacement of asphaltic concrete pavement and crushed rock base, and perform necessary Traffic Signal Modifications. In addition, the Contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing fire hydrant and water lateral and provide and install a new fire hydrant and new water lateral. The project work shall be conducted while protecting and preserving in-place signal poles, light poles, drainage inlets, and utility boxes.

The engineering department planned construction of about 60 additional designed curb ramps that summer.
The engineering department um continued to make steady progress improving accessibility in our streets and sidewalks. Again, there was 9,000 square foot of sidewalk and 62 curb ramps. And then the team also designed about 60 more curb ramps that are planned for construction this summer.

The project will be a street resurfacing project that will impact 2 roadways at the Locust Fork High School (School Road and Hornet Drive). Unit prices being provided for additions to or deletions from the base contract amount. The scope of work will include 1.5” of ALDOT 429A (165LBS/SY) asphalt wearing layer, 1.5” milling, tack coat, sweeping, shoulder cutbacks and stabilization, full depth removal and replacement with black base, alligator crack repair with E-Treatment with polymer additive, spraying for weeds and/or grass, striping (temporary paint and thermoplastic), etc.
