Bioswale Installation, Coastal Erosion Repair and Habitat Restoration (RFP)

Installing green infrastructure to manage stormwater runoff at its eight-acre waterfront. The work will entail restoring natural shoreline habitat, repairing an eroded gully and outfall and installing a bio-infiltration system. Installing a bioswale along the property’s north boundary with three riprap-lined chutes from a neighboring driveway to convey runoff to the bioswale which will be lined with a turf reinforcement mat and planted with salt marsh grasses and shrubs. Repairing an eroded gully with live willow stake riprap. Overhauling an existing culvert and outfall at the property boundary. Stabilizing bioswale overflow with stone and mortar riprap. Reconstruction of crushed stone berm. Conducting habitat restoration along 530 LF (approx. 21,000 SF) of shoreline through removal of Phragmites and black locust trees and saplings and planting with native shrubs and grasses.
