Summary
The City of Merced Engineering Department is soliciting bids for the construction of the Merced Regional Fire Training Center, also known as the Hawk Regional Training Center, a multi-phase regional fire academy and public safety training facility. Phase 1 of the project includes utility infrastructure, classrooms, restrooms, parking, and a training tower, with the full buildout planned over 10 years to include an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course, Urban Search and Rescue training facilities, and Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting training.
