(we believe the damaged line runs from the water heater to the garage wall. ) disconnect the line. Pull unfinished drywall from ceiling. Run a new pex water line through ceiling and down the wall. Insulate pipes if located in an attic or crawlspace or otherwise exposed to outside air. Make proper connections to existing plumbing. Re- install ceiling drywall. Install access panel where hole was cut. Remove all debris from site upon completion.
