Balaclava Hood Flame Resistant RFP

Description: The Department of the Army’s W6QM MICC-FT DRUM office seeks flame-resistant balaclava hoods through solicitation W911S227U0108, a total small-business set-aside. The hoods must provide a 42 cal/cm² CAT 3 arc rating and use 6-ounce OPF blend knit fabric with a double-layer top and bib extending protection below the neckline. They must be inherently flame resistant, compatible with arc goggles, moisture-wicking and quick-drying, and supplied in one-size-fits-all unisex sizing in olive drab green or black.
